Every building in Hong Kong needs an Authorized Person to coordinate its construction, supervise the works, and certify that it is safe. This Society is where those professionals meet, and this is where the public can learn what the appointment means.

The Hong Kong Society of Authorized Persons was established in Hong Kong in 2026. It is the first and only society dedicated to Authorized Persons — the architects, engineers and surveyors appointed under the Buildings Ordinance (Cap. 123) to take responsibility for the safety of the buildings the public uses.
香港建築認可人士公會於2026年在香港成立，是首個、也是唯一一個專門服務認可人士的團體 — 這些根據《建築物條例》（第123章）獲委任的建築師、工程師與測量師，對公眾使用的樓宇安全承擔責任。
